Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended after its seventh season. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick won an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) and What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was an New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) who was an educator and therapist for families, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI who was the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian. She was also of English origins. Sedgwick claims to be Jewish and says she goes to Passover seders.
